Following the success of his debut Letter To The Girl I Loved EP, Raphael Onyeise returns three months later with a new single called Jaiye. In his latest offering, the fast-rising artist takes you to his origin story and back to the present where he intends to make good music and have a good time.
Raphael uses a blend of English and Yoruba language over a bouncy Amapiano-infused instrumental. The result is a feel-good vibes track. On the inspiration for Jaiye, he says;
“I made this song after opening for Fireboy DML. Watching him on stage motivated me and I decided to make a song about myself and my life. I wrote the song just after coming back from a party.“
With Jaiye, Raphael proves his ability to consistently put out good music and stands out as one talent to look out for from the crop of new artists.
