Minz Kicks Year Off With Blaqbonez & BNXN assisted “WOWO” remix

Strongly closing off last year following the release of WOWO, Minz has kicked off the new year 2023 with a remix to the infectious tune. For the WOWO remix he has enlisted two of the hottest players in the industry, Chocolate City rapper Blaqbonez and “one of the few that’s really singing,” BNXN fka Buju.

Releasing the remix to Wowo, which is pidgin for ugly, he features breakout stars: BNXN fka Buju and Blaqbonez, as they reflect on their odyssey, appreciating the rise and time in the industry. While coming to terms and accepting to bear the weight of his journey, Minz uses his past to show the listeners it hasn’t been a smooth sail.

The classical mellow production from French producer Mike Bgrz reflects Minz current head state as he gears up for the new year. Built on an acoustic saxophone the head bopping afropop number captures the inspirational agenda Minz is pushing towards. Making an innate decision with the collaboration, the inclusion of BNXN fka Buju and Blaqbonez who have made monumental steps in the industry over the past years coincided with the struggle artists endure as they are a reflection of international success.

Commenting on the journey this far, Minz said: “In this sober moment I’m grateful to my maker for bringing me this far to where I can proudly say I’ve overcome. I don’t take the blessings for granted and I hope to inspire someone who’s in an ugly place in their life that they too can someday look back on these moments with thanksgiving.” Minz’ entire goal with WOWO is to hopefully inspire people in difficult phases of their lives and help them see that it’s possible to make it out.
