Windsor may be thousands of miles away from Nigeria and other parts of Africa, but the mission of Access Bank UK Polo Day remains firmly rooted in the continent.
Held at the prestigious Guards Polo Club, this year’s event once again blended high society, fine fashion, and the elegance of polo, reaching beyond glamour to achieve a far greater purpose.
Thanks to Access Bank’s unique position and influential global network, what could have been just another elite gathering has been transformed into a powerful philanthropic platform channeling significant funding toward impactful charity efforts.
In partnership with Fifth Chukker and UNICEF, Access Bank has ensured that proceeds from this celebrated event are directed toward vital education projects in Africa. Over the years, these efforts have resulted in the construction of 120 classrooms in Kaduna State, Nigeria, positively impacting the lives of more than 14,000 children.
This is more than a day of sport and society — it is a testament to what is possible when privilege meets purpose. Guests didn’t just show up to be seen; they showed up to give. And that’s what makes this more than a polo match. It’s a reminder that elegance and empathy don’t live on opposite sides. With the right intention, they ride side by side, driving lasting change, together.
