Gambia’s new president, Adama Barrow arrived at the Banjul airport on Thursday, after returning from Senegal. Jubilant Gambians welcomed Barrow, who was elected almost two months ago but forced to flee to Senegal when his predecessor, Yahya Jammeh, refused to step aside.
