Adekunle Gold Basks in Afro Pop Glory on ‘Catch Me If You Can’ LP

Posted on

Adekunle Gold first came on the scene as a talented Graphic Designer famous for photoshopping himself into pictures with popular culture icons before breaking out by covering pop songs with a folksy Yoruba undertone. Over the last couple of years, he has shed that weight, opting to evolve into a genuine Afro Pop/ R&B star. This culminates in his 14-track project, Catch Me If You Can, featuring brand-new collaborations with an array of world-class talent like  Ty Dolla $ign, Stefflon Don, Fatoumata Diawara and Fousheé

Complemented by the stellar production from the likes of Blaise Beatz, Tay Iwar, Spax, Pheelz and, Bigfish, the new album showcases more of Adekunle Gold’s signature, one of a kind combination of addictive melodies and razor sharp lyricism that has earned him a legion of fans across the world and 100s of millions of global streams.
