Still basking in his signing with the iconic Def Jam Recordings, Afrobeats singer Adekunle Gold has released a new album Tequila Ever After. In this project, the singer includes previously released singles Party No Dey Stop, Ogaranya  and songs from his Tio Tequila EP released in May this year.

The producers on this album are frequent collaborator Kel-P and Labrinth, while featured artists are Habib Koite, Ami Faku, Zinoleesky, ODUMODUBLVCK, Coco Jones, Texas superstar Khalid, heavyweights Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, and his wife Simi.

Rich in a variety of sounds and influences, which includes RnB, Amapiano, and American rhythms, Tequila Ever After is an expression of the global adventure of African sounds. It is also a reflection of Adekunle Gold’s musical evolution and experience. According to him, “I am not the Adekunle Gold who released my first album in 2016. I have a lot more confidence now”. With his current posture, as inferred from his words, the singer is willing to establish a legacy as one of the most influential contemporary artists and an Afropop giant.

Following the album release, Adekunle Gold will commence his North American tour on Friday September 22nd, alongside Canadian-based Afro-R&B star Nonso Amadi. Produced by Live Nation and Duke Concept, tickets are available for sale at Tequilaeverafter.com/tour
