Africa Magic’s epic series Ajoche is now available on sister site, Showmax. The series joins the many Africa Magic shows streaming on Showmax, from Unbroken to Oghenekome to The Johnsons.
Dubbed the best written Nigerian TV show by many, Ajoche is a story of war, love and betrayal. It is set in 1918 and tells the story of a kingdom that “goes on a bloody rampage after an innocent woman is murdered.”
Revenge, war, duty, honor, love, lust and destiny are the order of the day, as the people of Ocholuje learn to survive after uncovering some bitter truths once buried in the past.
Ajoche is produced and directed by James Omokwe. The screenplay is from Tunde Aladese (The Lost Café, Shuga) and Adeniyi Adeniji (script editor for The Wedding Party and Tatu). Its starry cast features Femi Branch, Lota Chukwu, Chris Okagbue, Hilda Dokubo, Efa Iwara, TBossetc.
