Sony Music West Africa was one of the first foreign labels to pitch its tent on Nigerian shores. Acts like Wizkid, Davido and Ycee were able to leverage on this in building their careers. Earlier this year, the label announced the appointment of ex DMW President, Seun ‘Banko’ Lloyd as its General Manager to replace Michael Ugwu.

As one of the first moves in its new chapter, it announces the signing of producer Kiddominant whose work with A-list artists like; Davido, WizKid, Rae Sremmurd, AKA, Beyoncé, Mayorkun and Chris Brown has set him apart. Since signing a publishing deal with Sony/ATV in 2017, he produced hits such as Davido’s Fall, AKA’s Fela in Versace and “Jika” which were both certified double platinum and gold respectively on his Touch My Blood album.

The deal at Sony Music is an exclusive music licensing deal. Kiddominant is currently prepping the the release of his new album, OneAfrica. He gives us a sneak peak with the #One Africa hashtag on social media, hooking fans with features from 8 global African artists.

With Sony Music behind him and a vision to uplift, Kiddominant is currently teasing the release of his already finished album “OneAfrica”. He gives us a sneak peak with the #One Africa hashtag on social media, hooking fans with features from 8 global African artists.
