Kanye West and his team debuted YEEZY SEASON 5 yesterday at Pier 59 in New York City. West also debuted the highly anticipated Calabasas-branded items, which have been making rounds on social media for some time now, in addition to a new pair of chunky runners that draw influences from sportswear styles of the past. West also makes the loyalty to adidas clear for the first time as we see 3 stripes on a number of pieces.
This collection marks West’s most lowkey and understated Fashion Week debut. He also didn’t premiere new music opting to play The Dream’s demo of J Holiday’s throwback Bed. It also seems to have received West’s best reception from the critical community.
