Sometime last year, Seyi Shay mentioned in an interview that One Dance was actually Wizkid’s song and it was produced by Legendury Beatz and another Nigerian producer. When the interview surfaced online, we all took it as Seyi Shay doing the usual most and criticized her because One Dance had to be Drizzy’s work.

Even Wiz came out with one or two things to say about Seyi Shay back then and Drake continued to bask in the limelight.
Earlier today, Wizkid posted an award on Instagram which actually proves that Seyi Shay was speaking with some insider’s knowledge on the topic back in June 2016. The award from the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), congratulates Wizkid for writing a Billboard #1 song.

Wizkid essentially created a hit and gave it to the one man he knows could push it where it deserved to be, Drizzy and in many ways is benefiting of that today and could crown it all off with a Grammy in under two weeks.
