Over the years, rap music in Nigeria has played a significant role in the Nigerian music industry, keeping the hip-hop culture alive. Different rappers have lent their voices to the culture and Ayodeji, a Nigerian hip-hop head based in England is no different. A rapper, producer and somewhat music executive, Ayodeji is a multi-talented artist . While he usually chooses to stay behind the scenes, he takes the center stage with his latest single B.B.G.D (Big Booty Go Down).
B.B.G.D is off Ayodeji’s forthcoming EP titled ‘Brought You Flowers’, and is produced by Jambo. The music production is highly influenced by afrobeats, with heavy drums and percussions. It will be released soon under the imprint of Mayhem Records. The music video was shot in Manchester, directed by Kurt.
Ayodeji has previously released two EPs titled ‘Feet on Ground’ and ‘Introvertism’ with some hit songs off both EPs; Sunny Ade and Time Dey Go.
