Timing they say is everything, particularly in the careers like music where shifts in appealing sounds can come in the blink of an eye. For an artist like Ayo Jay, many will agree his debut project comes too late. On the back end of the goodwill created by Your Number which is easily in the conversation for biggest African crossover songs ever, Ayo Jay will release his debut project, Lazy Genius Volume 1 on the 15th of June 2018.
Featuring Davido, Olamide, Rotimi, Faydee and James Yammouni, the seven track EP features some of the work we’ve heard from Ayo Jay since 2017 but will dominantly see us experience him like never before.
Producers credited include Melvitto, HOD, Soko, Young D, James Yammouni and Dapiano.
