Ay’s 2018 blockbuster Merry Men: Real Yoruba Demon is now available on Amazon Prime Video. The box office-shattering film joins the growing list of Nollywood films now available on the streaming platform for viewers in the US and UK.

Merry Men is about four rich, stylish men, Remi Martins (Falz), Naz Okigbo (Jim Iyke), Ayo Alesinloye (Ramsey Nouah) and Amaju Abioritsegbemi (Ayo Makun). They live life to the fullest, steal from the rich and give to the poor and have the attention of ladies in no short supply.

They face their biggest challenge yet when they antagonize a notorious and corrupt politician who plans on demolishing a village to build a shopping mall. The four men scheme to save the poor people of the village.

Merry Men stars Ireti Doyle, Jide Kosko, Nancy Isime, Damilola Adegbite, Ali Nuhu, and Segun Arinze in supporting roles.  Anthony Kehinde Joseph (The Bling Lagosian) penned the screenplay while Toka McRabor directed.

The sequel of the action-comedy is due for release this December with some new faces, most notably, Williams Uchemba, Gordons, Regina  Daniel, Alex Unusual, Linda Osifo and Ufuoma McDermott. Moses Inwang will direct the sequel.
