Perhaps it’s the family ties or love for Afro-Pop that serves as the common ground Davido and B-Red stand on that has churned out all their collaborations. Whatever the reason, the unprofitability and unpopularity of these tracks hasn’t deterred the cousins from making their way back to each other for singles. Fresh off the release of his collaboration with Don Jazzy titled E Better, B-Red enlists Davido for another single titled Achie.
The inconsequential titled track produced by North Boy finds the duo delivering verses alluding to a woman that has them smitten over popular Afro-Pop instrumentals powered by quick drums and synthesized chords.
Though not entirely a hit, Achie is tops the list of B-Red and Davido’s best collaborations, a partnership that’s likely to last a lifetime.
