The Bak2Rap movement, a hip-hop community in Abuja which drives and develops engagements at the grassroots level both online and offline is set to release its first single, Area. The single features RebelWav, T.E.D.A The Great and Guncho.
The song shows the dynamism in the combination of both progressive and traditional hip-hop styles on a track. It’s a reminder about the benefits of building street credibility over time by simply showing up and paying dues from 3 different perspectives and deliveries. Area cuts across different moods, themes, and sounds and resonates with several generations of audiences.
As part of Bak2Rap Movement efforts in championing offline events include recording camps, live events, and performances for artists based in Abuja.
