Among a slew of others who have channeled their talent and passion into demanding an end to bad governance in Nigeria, 2Baba, Timi Dakolo, Waje, Seun Kuti, Brookstone, and LCGC led by Banky W have taken to their first love, music to petition Nigerians to focus on development and goodwill.
“This is not a song, it’s a statement about a very lost generation” are the pensive and striking words that flag off the Masterkraft produced single. The words are heavy and challenging. They demand introspection just as they demand accountability and transparency from listeners.
Each artist takes a verse to address a different issue and together, they harmonize in sound, soul, and supplication. Even Seun Kuti’s saxophone rendition is thick with enough soul to stir you to change.
