Tinny Entertainment made the decision to add on two new signees earlier in the year, Dapo Tuburna and Bella. As expected, they wasted no time introducing these acts who already boasted decent discographies. Tuburna with a video for a street-friendly track titled Nothing and Bella with a single, Radio and now video featuring the label’s frontrunner, YCee.
The effort which has enjoyed a fair amount of airplay saw Bella find the right intersection between rap and afropop in similar fashion to her sophomore project, Bella The EP ahead of YCee who came delivers an extremely laidback verse we’ve become familiar with time and time again. The video which was shot in Lagos was directed by Theophilus King and features some of Lagos Island’s high rise office buildings, dancers, bright lights and dreamy camerawork that goes hand in hand with YCee’s verse.
