BigBaby C Invites Listeners On A Journey With New Single, “LOAD”

Aluebho Civian Obehi, better known as BigBaby C is a Nigerian actor, model, and fast rising singer-songwriter from the Southern part of the country. After winning a Star Quest edition with her band, Crystals, a few years back, she started her career as an independent act. Crystals band beat the Quantum Vibes and Soul Rhythm to win the grand prize of N7.5m recording contract, N3.6m cash prize, year’s accommodation in a choice location with state-of-the-art facilities.

Her success at the Star Quest event led to her going on tours and performing alongside the likes of 2Baba, Tiwa Savage, Timaya, and a host of others.

BigBaby C participated in the maiden edition of The Voice Nigeria, and afterwards, went on to perform solo at the Nigerian Brewery Festival, Lagos State Government Official Countdown, and the Tiktok Africa Naija to The World Event. 

Her debut single, Koleyemi, is a timeless song with a heartwarming message; reminding people to hold on to their humanity no matter what. The song was inspired by true events, and betrayal that almost left her in asylum but she proved that with strong will, you can overcome everything thrown at you. While it gained quick acceptance, hitting seventy thousand streams on Spotify with fans being moved by it, she did not stop there. LOAD highlights not only her emotional depth and vocal range, but also the powerful storytelling in her songwriting. It solidifies BigBaby C’s position as one of Nigeria’s most promising talents, with soulful harmonies that resonate with audiences on a deeper level.
