Designer appreciation is top on the list of inspirations for musicians these days. Just recently, we watched Cuppy dazzle the public with her “offending in Fendi” quips and skits. On his sophomore album, rapper, Blaqbonez, dedicated an entire song, Fendi to using the Italian designer as a metaphor for appraising his relationship with the track’s muse whom he claims has him wrapped around her little finger. Although not a part of Sex Over Love’s singles, Fendi is a fan favorite and its just-released TG Omori-directed video is a testament to its popularity.
Joined by Joeboy whose second verse is one of the track’s best parts, Blaqbonez appropriates luxury living to the maximum in a lavish display decorated with women and designer outfits among other alluring elements that contributes to the video’s psychotropic ambiance.
From an extravagant house party to a money vault, Blaqbonez proves to us he knows just how to throw it down and live up to his designer-clad life.
