Fast-rising rapper Emeka ‘Blaqbonez‘ Akumefule is set to release his first ever merchandise collection “GOODBOY” in collaboration with SIJ Culture, a streetwear brand.
Since emerging into the Nigerian music soundscape, with the singles, covers, freestyles and two bodies of work to his name, Blaqbonez is more than ready to secure a spot atop the industry’s echelon in the coming years. From being a mere Facebook rapper, rising to critical acclaim and being one tipped to salvage the rap scene in Nigeria music, a task Blaqbonez is unflinchingly proving to be equal to, with one project after another.
The inspiration behind the “GOODBOY” collection is the track titled Good Boy which features his label mate, CKay and BOJ on Blaqbonez‘s recently released project – Bad Boy Blaq: Re-Up. The song almost immediately resonated with fans as it is donned with brilliant lyrics and witty wordplay by the rappers aimed at vindicating themselves to be actual GOOD (responsible) boys.

The GOODBOY collection comes with shirts and bags in different designs. It will be up for purchase from 25th March 2019, with an inducement that would see Blaqbonez personally deliver the first 30 preorders to buyers.
