After releasing three EP projects and a plethora of hit singles since his emergence, Singer and Songwriter Daniel Benson, popularly called Bnxn, has released his long-awaited debut album, Sincerely Benson.
It’s not far-fetched that the winner of the 2022 Headies Next Rated Award will inspire keen anticipation and eagerness in music enthusiasts and stakeholders as he drops his first album. He describes this project as a vulnerable body of work, an audio story of his relationships and struggles with fame and stardom. The album opens with “My Life,” a wake-up call that spurs the artist into talking about his life’s journey and why it’s now “his time” in the music industry. The fifth track is the chart-topping number Gwagwalada, featuring Kizz Daniel and Seyi Vibez.
The Afro-fusion artist features a couple of other talented artists through the 15-track album, including Headie One on Maximum Damage, 2Baba on the track Regret, and Popcaan on the last song on the album, Final Answer. Producers on the album include Afrobeats masterminds like Sarz, Tempoe, Blaisebeatz, and Jae5.
