BrisB Ends Two-Year Drought With Groovy Cut ‘2g1c’

As one of the pioneers of the new school, former L.O.S member, BrisB’s, retraction especially in this receptive time, often comes as a surprise. Over the years, he’s adapted his devil-may-care method of delivery, signature to his articulation style, to the release of music and this has resulted in a handful of singles shared in over 2 years. His last solo single, Supa Sigh, was released in 2018 and save from a couple of features in-between, he’s been MIA. He returns this month, fit and solid as ever on 2g1c, short for two girls one cup, along with Fuji, who serves as the order that came right on time on the bass-heavy single.

BrisB is calm but direct and soused in elements of psychedelia on the Smallz-produced track. From his friendships to his attitude to life, he touches on subjects important to him over the central love theme which eventually reveals his nonchalance towards the chaotic relationship he sings about.

Despite its lack of any indication of evolution whatsoever, 2g1c is a welcome development, especially after years of radio silence from BrisB.
