Bucky Raw and Vector Enter Loverboy Mode with ‘Fine Girl’

It’s the month of love and Liberian rapper, Bucky Raw, enlists Nigeria’s Vector to put us in the mood with their collab Fine Girls.  On this silky tune, Raw and Vector serenade beautiful women everywhere. For this number, Mystro provides a hypnotic melody, complimented by a drum-heavy base and intertwining piano keys. The result is a mid-tempo composition on which Raw and Vector spit about the object of their affection.

Since 2016, Bucky Raw has been a defining act in Liberia’s rap scene. His 2017 mixtape Country Soda and 2018’s Cs2 have won him critical acclaim in the country’s music scene. Off the back of Cs2, which peaked at #10 on the Billboard World Album Charts, Raw was awarded Artist of the year at the Liberian Music Awards. 

Fine Girl is the artist’s first song of 2022 and speaking on the song and his collaboration with Vector, Bucky Raw said in a statement

You’re inspired everyday by the beautiful things around you. African women are the most beautiful in the world and this song is a tribute to the pretty girls. 

It is early enough in the year but Bucky Raw is already giving his fans a reminder of his svelte rap style- and with Fine Girl, he is making sure that all the beautiful ladies are dancing, from Monrovia to Lagos.
