Burna Boy Is A Leader Of The People on New Single ‘Odogwu’

Shortly after the announcement of the dates for his upcoming Twice As Tall tour across America and Europe, Burna Boy shares Odogwu, his first single of 2020.

Singing in laidback fashion “when I reach igbo land, dem dey call me odogwu,” Burna doubles down on his belief in himself to be a leader of the people. The calm fashion he sings in exudes the confidence of a man without any worries, perhaps because he has the weight of the masses squarely behind him. The cover for the Kel P produced single also sees an ape, donning Igbo attire sitting on what we can assume to be a throne.
