Molazzi

In 2021, the youthful and gifted Nigerian musician Molazzi captivated us with his popular song Vaccine. With Vaccine’s lyric, “You can’t kill my vibe,” the singer, and songwriter made it obvious that they were taking things seriously. His most recent EP, Orinlazzi, Molazzi maintains his laid-back summer groove, and unbreakable essence in his world of music. Keeping with his mood, the Orinlazzi title is derived from his name Molazzi combined with the Yoruba word “Orin,” which means “song” in English.
Molazzi and the Boma Mine introduce us to a cultural and indigenous aspect of African music in the opening track, HURRAY.
In the project, Molazzi takes us on a tour through his music, expressiveness, and self. If you enjoyed Vaccine, you should listen to more of his music.
