Following a tweet from Davido earlier in the week and a recent snippet of the song, Nigerian singer-songwriter, CKay has released his latest single titled Watawi and music streets are abuzz with excitement!
The new song features an impressive lineup that consists of Nigerian superstar, Davido, South African rapper, Focalistic as well as popular Limpopo-born DJ and producer, Abidoza — all of whom brought their own special flavour to the track.
With the whole world still very much under the Amapiano spell, the single has already been dubbed a potential club banger. The highly awaited song features CKay’s sultry vocals, a little Sepitori rap, and that catchy mix of Afrobeats and Amapiano that we’ve all come to know and love. Who doesn’t enjoy a well-delivered Pan-African collab?
