We’ve seen the phenomenon soar by way of features and today, American Band Coldplay expectedly goes the extra mile on a single titled Èkó, off their just-released culture dense eighth studio album, Everyday Life.
Twined with a narrative chock full of metaphors based on the popular features of the city of Lagos, they deliver a lithe ballad about the beauty of togetherness in the midst of chaos. The 4-man band enlists none other than Tiwa Savage to lend vocal support to the track’s willowy chorus. As expected, we get early days Tiwa whose vocal quality preceded her desire to tap into mainstream and together, the group delivers a soft mood-inducing piece bound to plaster itself to the memory of its listener forever.
