With Fuse ODG’s selfie cypher challenge on the rise and the self-shot inspiration behind his label-mate, Rema’s Dumebi video, Crayon enlists the selfie cypher method for the video for Gock Am, one of the 6 tracks off his just-released self titled EP, Cray Cray.
Starring a group of friends who trailblaze through a mall, laughing and lip-syncing to Crayon’s heady lyrics, the video’s artistic direction captures the essence of Crayon’s brand and contributes to the digestion of other tracks on the EP like Gock Am itself which haven’t gotten as much traction as it’s singles, Bamiloke and So Fine.
Crayon is on the right path to fame and with the backing of Don Jazzy, his talent and doting fanbase, he’s likely to achieve more in less time.
