When our favourite celebrities let us have a somewhat personal and intimate glimpse into their lives, it is always an amazing experience. Davido recently released what we would like to consider a birthday present to his fans in the form of a documentary of the European leg of his highly successful 30 Billion Tour which was off the back of his monster hit song If. Tour documentaries are not new with Nigerian artists, as Mr. Eazi hosted his ‘Life is Eazi’ tour documentary on Tidal.
The ‘Welcome to the 30 Billion Experience’ documentary gives fans a behind the scenes look at all that went down on the tour, like key moments during the shows which included other artists like fellow DMW teammates, Mr Eazi, Not3s, and a few others. The doc also shone a light on some of the struggles Davido and his team had to face during the tour with sound, dodgy Promoters and other technical difficulties. Everything led up to his triumphant and historic sold out show at the prestigious o2 Academy Brixton London where he brought out Wizkid marking a historic moment in their friends today, foes tomorrow relationship.
