For former HKN signee and Davido associate, Deekay’s hangover is as a result of the intense feelings he has for the ‘day one’ muse featuring heavily in his debut track; Hangover and he turns to music to express himself even as the rest of the world prepares to lose themselves to the slimy but welcoming effects of alcohol this weekend.
The Ghanaian MC will rather be swayed in the direction of love and to drive home his promise to go to any length for this girl, Deekay enlists label head and mate; Davido and Peruzzi who are quite skilled at charming the pants off of their love interests to authenticate his bass-heavy ballad.
The trio toe the bass lines of Fresh VDM’s echoing drums and atmospheric synths made complete with some kind of electric flute that envelopes the mesmeric aura created by Deekay’s corny lyrics.
