Distruction Boyz tap Mr Eazi For New Gqom Powered Track; Shasha Kushasha

Lately, Mr Eazi has enjoyed playing host to a slew of foreign cultures in the form of musical features. Two months ago, he was tapped to power Major Lazer’s Tied Up with Raye; the 17th track off their just released Afrobeats (DJ Mix) and as usual, he owned the entire set, leaving little room for Raye to shine. This month, he lends his gruff but inspiring energy to the South African Hip-Hop duo; Distruction Boyz for their just released 11 track Gqom powered LP; It Was All A Dream and together the trio deliver a high energy South African House offering that will have its listener moving to its bouncy hypno-electronic pop rhythm in no time.

The 4 minute long track titled Shasha Kushasha features Mr Eazi doing what he does best; lackadaisically inducing the right feels with equally loose lyrics on a climbing head nodding soundscape of the traditional Gqom drum, pinches of Afrobeat evident in Eazi’s Yoruba stylized lyrics and chimes of whistles among other interesting sounds.

With Mr Eazi among others leading the way, Distruction Boyz might be well on their way to getting another Gold Certification and this comes as no surprise seeing as the duo have set themselves apart with unique Gqom powered rhythms.
