One of the DJ’s challenging gender norms in the music industry, DJ Lambo continues to broaden her horizon by keying into the wave of Disc Jockeys diversifying their portfolios. Before 2020 ended, she introduced us to the full scope of her plans on A Tale Of Two Cities, a seven-track EP on which she leveraged the passion and talents of majorly up and comers. Bella, the Iyanya and Lady Donli love song, is one of the EP’s best tracks, and this month, she leads with the video for the track.
DJ Lambo, with directorial assistance from Mr C, revives our party spirits with colorful beach shots that speak to the track’s tropical sound-plane. Laidback and somewhat stirring, Iyanya and Lady Donli deliver performances that pave the way to DJ Lambo’s surprising parting shot.
A Tale Of Two Cities, just like its name suggests is one of those projects that’s built on the best of numerous elements and Bella, is a perfect example of how different sounds can co-exist on one track.
