DJ Neptune Enlists Laycon On Remix Of Joeboy Powered ‘Nobody (Icons Remix)’

Since its release, DJ Neptune’s Nobody has basked in the exclusivity of Mr Eazi’s return which dazzled his minute contribution to the single and Joeboy’s mesmeric vocals topped off by his charm and the song’s tuneful instrumentals. The single has been able to soar with these elements but to amplify its relevance even as a new dawn sets in the music industry, DJ Neptune enlists Big Brother Naija Season 5 winner, Laycon on a needless remix of the original version.

The song undergoes a complete revamp from the opening verse which Neptune switches out for a laidback rap verse delivered by Laycon to an additional Joeboy verse which erases Mr Eazis’ on the original version. The harmonies are also more pronounced and add to the song’s springiness.

Nobody (Icons Remix) is Laycon’s debut since he won the 85million naira Big Brother Nigeria prize and perhaps his coveted presence is the reason behind the remix but despite its avodability, it exposes his potential as a rapper and the extent of Joeboy’s threshold.
