DJ Tunez, the official DJ of Grammy-Award-winning musician, Wizkid, loves Amexin’s unique sound, leading to their second collaboration of the year. The first being Already is a melodious masterpiece that rode the airwaves all summer. His performance on his debut single was impressive as he exuded musical maturity reserved for seasoned veterans.
Born Kalu Daniel Onoh, Amexin is an emerging artiste from Nigeria. His unique sound is a soulful blend of Afrobeat and Folk music, which he terms ‘Afro folk’. His adaptation of indigenous sounds was largely influenced by the traditional music he grew up listening to, especially with artistes like Miriam Makeba, Paul Simon, Sade, Wizkid, Timaya, and Duncan Mighty.
