DJ Tunez Connects With Wizkid and BlaqJerzee for ‘Gbese’

As DJ Tunez has looked to develop his name beyond being simply a DJ, he has often looked towards Wizkid. His latest release, straight on the heels of Causing Trouble with Oxlade again sees him team up with Wiz as he also brings producer BlaqJerzee into the fold on Gbese, a jazzed up afro-pop love ballad trimmed with mellow drums.

As usual, Wizkid draws inspiration from Fela Anikulapo-Kuti as he stays on the mid-tempo rhythm while showering his muse with praise and promising her the best time with original Afrobeat references scattered about.

Just like his previous releases, DJ Tunez’s Gbese might not sound like his best effort at first listen but with time it’s likely to grow on his listeners and most likely make its way to various playlists.
