Election Season is in full blast, it’s a couple of weeks till PVC collection ends and we’ve started to see candidates do the needful ahead of the 2019 General Elections. Some of the candidates who have declared their interest in running for the position of president include incumbent Muhammadu Buhari, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former governor of Cross Rivers State Donald Duke and owner of Sahara Reporters Omoyele Sowore. Donald Duke acknowledges the need to spread his message to the younger demographic and as such was a guest on Pulse Nigeria’s Loose Talk Podcast.
Duke joined Ayomide Tayo, Steve Dede and Osagie Alonge for a conversation about his experience, plans for Nigeria and reflection on where leadership has taken the wrong steps in the past. The three hour long conversation is unlike what we are used to from Nigerian politicians as it shows Duke as ready to answer questions as opposed to dancing around straightforward inquiries.
