Every Nigerian has been through a rollercoaster of emotions this past month owing to the tragic events that took place in the month of October. More than ever now, Nigerian is known as the country that takes and takes and never gives back. In October, some of us were fortunate enough to keep our lives, some others, however, had theirs stolen from them. On his latest, This Fight, Dwin The Stoic honors the people who died.
The Rhaffy produced single is a heart-wrenching cut that humanizes these people who suddenly have become statistics and by force heroes. In his deep tenor, melodiously working Rhaffy’s piano dominant instrumentals he sings about what could have been and what will be now.
