The Lagos House of Assembly has summoned the state’s Tutor Generals and Permanent Secretaries of Education to appear before the House on Thursday to answer for their purported insubordination. The Tutor Generals and Permanent Secretaries have seemingly ignored the House Committee’s calls for the defense of the education budget. Due to this, the Chairman of the House Committee will, on Thursday, question them with respect to this alleged disregard for the House’s constitutional power.
