Efya is Whipped on Her New Maleek Berry Produced-Track, ‘Until The Dawn’

While Nigerian and Ghanaians may continue to remain at war over every thing that does not matter, its musicians have in some form bridged the gap by fusing the sounds of both countries and collaborating. At the moment, Mr Eazi and Runtown are at the forefront of the list of artists whose music is heavily influenced by Ghana. Efya is another act whose music has connected both countries with collaborations with Nigerian acts like Ice Prince and most notably, Daddy Yo with Wizkid. It is also believed that she is signed to Wizkid’s Starboy Music outfit and on her new track, Until The Dawn, she teams up with former Starboy affiliated producer turned artist, Maleek Berry who produces the track.

The Maleek Berry beat which is laden with sounds from drums, guitar synths, keyboards and a bass guitar meets Efya’s harmonized vocals and immediately creates a Jamaican feel while the singer sings about her desire to making love and creating a family with the man of her dreams.
