Following the release of her self-produced album Honeymoon in 2019, triple threat London based Nigerian producer, singer-songwriter, and Disc Jockey, Emmavie came to recognition and respect, racking in praises from celebrities and music industry giants. On the back of this acclaim, she dug her feet in deeper by sharing more projects that have spotlighted her brand. Always expressing the most complex parts of herself through music, she returns this month with Uh Huh Okay.
The ROMderful produced single, is a flirtatious RnB track, layered with soulful guitars and rhythmic percussion, and is led by Emmavie’s soulful vocals, which she explains:
“teases my love interest by painting romantic images with playful and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.”
Emmavie is gunning for another immersive EP, slated for a late summer release, and Uh Huh Okay is everything she needs to heighten anticipation for the forthcoming EP.
