Nigerian-born singer and songwriter, Onobrorhe Esther Elooghene who goes by the stage name Elo, will make her debut in the Nigerian music industry with a new single titled Tomorrow.

Growing up in the North Local Government Area of Delta State, Ughelli, she began her music at an early age by singing and playing in the Church choir. At the age of ten, she was already singing and writing songs. When she clocked fifteen, she knew it was only a matter of time before she took up music professionally.

Elo is a singer with unique vocals and sounds. Playful yet introspective, her Afrocentric style reflects her love for originality, vibes, and keenness for progressiveness.

Her music stems from experiences accrued from teaching, marketing, and a mix of cultures with a desire to show the world the versatility of African music, its richness, and uniqueness.

On her debut single, Elo is unapologetically herself. She sings about the joys and challenges of love and life with such honesty and emotions. From anthemic sing-alongs to nostalgic hooks, she reveals a voice that’s both playful and vulnerable. A sound that reflects her Afro-centered theme.

In anticipation of the release of her debut single, Elo says: “I hope to win a Grammy and one day be able to say I was among the African female artists to do so. It’s not about the plaque but about the recognition for all the women who have struggled and still do in the music industry. That would be a dream come true for me.”

With so much desire and talent, what will be the rest of Elo’s music journey? Well, Tomorrow will tell.
