The Nigerian creative scene is currently going through a upturn. And it seems things are about to get better. Per Tech Cabal, Facebook is planning an upcoming launch of Facebook for Creators in Nigeria and a partnership with Afrinolly to train 3000 creators and 2000 journalism students.
This is great news for the obvious reason is that offers formal education for an industry that has low barriers to entry and gives a more professional air and feel to what is presently in practice. It is also great validation of the work done by participants in the space proving that there is still ample runway for the scene to progress and reach best global practice.
