2017 saw Fasina’s star shine bright after his introduction in 2016 with his LifT EP. By a distance the biggest song the Britain based act scored was Freaky which featured Minz. The words ‘system is gingered’ rung and one of Swizz Beatz Afrobeat bump sessions redirected attention towards a record that helped Fasina extend his star.
Following a video shoot that saw Fasina join hands with the likes of MarQ, Joshua Gukas and Wami Aluko on the creative direction, Fasina focussed on engaging with the fans over Christmas and now shares the video to the anthem which represents many nights out, Freaky.
The absence of Fasina and Minz in any scenes together suggests their scenes may not have been recorded at the same time or place, however, that doesn’t take away from the delightful work.
