Fireboy DML Transcends Cultures, Eras And Trends In Video For ‘Vibration’

Since his YBNL debut, Jealous, Fireboy has played up to his perceived music genius persona with consistent performances and hits that make us believe with each release that he is indeed worth the praise he’s received in the past months. Lately, he’s been more generous in the revelation of his performing skills, building on his affinity for DC Comics’ Joker in a way that suggests that videos from his debut album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps might just be one long movie. In the previous video, Scatter, his character was involved by the popular villain and in Vibration, he retains the persona.

Surrounded by different troupes in different scenes including one reminiscent of Kanye West’s Runaway, Fireboy gives his all in a dramatic performance more suggestive than the song’s theme. Along with TG Omori, he creates a lookbook of sorts with scenes from different cultures, eras, and trends ranging from popular Indian festival, Holi, to the disco era which closes out the creative video.
