Emerging on the scene is Fitzy West, an artist poised to shine brightly as a future Afrobeats star. His dedication lies in crafting music that goes beyond entertainment, delving into personal experiences and perspectives, and telling stories that resonate with authenticity and emotion.

Describing his songwriting process, Fitzy West shares, “My songwriting process often begins with personal experiences, which I then translate into lyrics that resonate with authenticity and emotion.”

In 2022, Fitzy West released his debut project, Play Now Pay Later, a testament to his depth of talent, leaving no opportunity untouched to showcase his capabilities. He reminisces about the positive reception of the project. “The reception to ‘Play Now Pay Later’ was very positive, with fans, friends, family, and critics alike praising it.” Reflecting on his journey since the debut project, he notes, “Since the release of ‘Play Now Pay Later,’ I’ve experienced genuine followership, organic growth both artistically and personally, refining my craft, and expanding my audience.” He said.

Building on the success of his debut, Fitzy West continued his artistic journey with other records. YU KNW and Owu Diet; a collaboration with respected rapper Payper Corleon were proof of his artistry. Teasing his fans with anticipation, he reveals an exciting project in the works, exploring new sonic boundaries. Sharing insights into his collaboration with King Perry, he describes it as an incredible experience, praising Perry’s natural mastery of creativity and intent. Asked about future collaborations, Fitzy West mentioned Burna Boy, Timaya, Omah Lay, and 1da Banton from PH, while drawing inspiration from global icons like Post Malone and Westside Boogie. With ambitious dreams, he states, “In the next few years, I see Fitzy West continuing to evolve and grow as an artist, reaching new heights of success and making a lasting impact on the music industry.”

His journey to the top continues with the release of his latest two-pack single, Suffer/Forward, marking another step in his steady ascent.
