Flavour’s smooth, soulful vocals blend seamlessly with Oskido’s masterful production and Olodum’s captivating drumming, resulting in a track that promises to light up dance floors worldwide.
Recognized as one of Africa’s finest Highlife singers, Flavour N’abania released his 8-track debut project N’abania in 2005, selling over 10 million copies in Nigeria. Five years later, he followed up with his sophomore album, Uplifted, with hit songs like Nwa Baby(Ashawo Remix)and Adanma from the project making waves. Afterwards, he released other studio albums, Blessed (2012), Thankful (2014), Ijele The Traveler (2017), Flavour of Africa (2020) and African Royalty (2023).
Oskido is a South African co-founder and director of Kalawa Jamzee Records, a famous independent record label that has existed for over 25 years. With an eye for talent, he is considered instrumental to the growth of some of the country’s biggest artists, including Black Coffee, Black Motion, DJ Zinhle, Mafikizolo and DJ Maphorisa.
Evolving from a Salvador carnival in 1979, Olodum is a cultural group and band credited with the development of a distinct musical style, samba raggae, through which they depicted Afro-Brazilian culture and themes.
The collaboration between Flavour, Oskido and Olodum attempts to project Afrocentric values and soundscapes in a way that appeals to global artistic standards, uniting interlocking cultural worlds and ideas in one sonic breath.
