The iconic single malt whisky brand, Glenfiddich has unveiled its Bold Futures 2.0 campaign, building on its mission to inspire individuals to take risks, overcome challenges, and redefine success.
Held at an exclusive press conference held at The Speakeasy, Glenfiddich introduced this year’s “Celebrate the Bold 2.0” Mavericks – Mr Eazi, Nancy Isime, Ifeanyi Nwune, and William Chechet – as key figures in this bold initiative. The Bold Futures 2.0 campaign officially kicks off on 20th October 2024 with the launch of a limited-edition sleeve design, encouraging people to break boundaries and reach their fullest potential in line with Glenfiddich’s spirit of boldness and creativity.
At the press event, guests received an in-depth presentation of the campaign’s vision, goals, and upcoming activities. Highlights of the evening included talks by the Mavericks, who shared personal stories of resilience, creativity, and breaking barriers – all values that align closely with Glenfiddich’s philosophy.
Returning Maverick Mr Eazi shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Joining the Bold Futures campaign for a second time is an honor. Glenfiddich’s dedication to boldness and creativity mirrors my own journey of facing fears and embracing bold moves.”
Nancy Isime echoed this sentiment, remarking, “It’s a privilege to work again with a brand that celebrates pushing limits. Glenfiddich’s ethos of challenging oneself to succeed resonates deeply with my own career journey, and I’m thrilled to be a Maverick.”
Adding to the excitement, Ifeanyi Nwune stated “Bold Futures 2.0 is filled with thrilling surprises, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what we’ve created.”
Special guest, Shaffy Bello joined the celebration, alongside the Mavericks who shared reflections on their paths to success, underscoring values of resilience, creativity, and boldness as central to their growth and achievements. Actor and producer John Boyega, a guest for the evening, expressed his admiration for the Mavericks’ bold, creative pursuits.
The event concluded with an interactive session, where guests gained insights into both the brand and the Mavericks’ journeys. The Mavericks were honored with an intimate dinner at the Wine Lab, followed by an after-party at WBar.
The Bold 2.0 campaign will continue with a series of exciting events, including the Glenfiddich Experimental Night, the Sleeves Launch, and Maverick Meet & Greet sessions in Lagos and Abuja, underscoring Glenfiddich’s commitment to fostering creativity, boldness, and innovation.
