Google partnered with Lagos-based creative marketing agency DefEars Management on Thursday, July 2, 2026, to host Football with Gemini, an interactive event that introduced creators to the capabilities of Google Gemini through football-themed activities.
Held at Google’s office, the football-themed, interactive event featured artificial intelligence, sports, and other interactive activities. Through the various activities and sessions held during the event, the creators had the opportunity to explore Google Gemini’s creative capabilities and experiment with how the AI assistant can support content creation. They were able to use Gemini’s creative tools to generate AI-powered images, create football-inspired versions of themselves, and design personalised football jerseys through text prompts. Participants also explored Google’s latest generative AI capabilities as they produced anthems and songs using Lyria 3, Google’s music generation model.
