Fast-rising Ghanaian singer, Gyakie has premiered the official music video for her latest single, Something. The song, which was released just two weeks ago, is a sultry mix of R&B and Afro-Fusion, showcasing the young artists’ undeniable talent.
Directed by Ghanaian cinematographer, Andy Madjitey, and shot in Accra, Gyakie’s hometown, the video does a good job of capturing both the romantic and sultry themes of the song, oscillating between wholesome love scenes and fun, delectable dance scenes. Viewers are taken from pretty, well-lit backdrops to dimly-lit spaces, giving us a taste of Gyakie’s sweet and sexy persona.
The video is evenly paced and complements the song’s infectious, smooth melody quite well, and with more than 13,000 likes on YouTube in less than 24 hours, this might very well be one of Gyakie’s best music videos yet.
