Half of a Yellow Sun set for March release

The film adaptation of Chimamanda Adichie’s ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ is scheduled for release in the UK in March. The movie directed by Biyi Bandele and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor, Anika Noni Rose and Thandie Newton had been plagued by discrediting claims of a failure to seal a distribution deal and there’s been a general lack of clarity surrounding its release. However, according to Anika Noni Rose via Twitter the movie would be released in the UK in March and in the summer months in the US.

We anticipate eagerly.
